My friend Laura and I went out for
breakfast lunch yesterday at a cute little restaurant downtown!
First, meet Laura!
Laura’s lunch: scrambled eggies and a biscuit, which she put some jam on!
My lunch: Breakfast sammie (if you didn’t already know, I am obsessed with these….yes I know they are not paleo! Gotta live a little.) Multigrain bagel, bacon, egg, cheese. First REAL bacon I’ve had in over 5 years, so good! Demolished that thing.
Now actually get to why I titled this post “spot on”… My macros that is… 40/30/30, that’s my jam. 2250 calories, yuhp. Some people count macros, others don’t – honestly it’s personal preference… in my opinion you don’t need to. For me, it keeps me on track. It keeps me reliable to both my health and my training, it works.
I don’t know why the picture is really wide, but just go with it! Steak tips, green beans, caramelized pear w/ nutmeg, and ketchup! How many of you thought the pear was potato at first glance?
And, it’s my day off… well unplanned day off. It snowed, shocking right? I mean NH never gets snow 😉 I decided I really just wanted to play catch up on the online classes today and relax. This week is February vacation so there will be some double sessions! I’ll be updating my training page soon so you can check out how I get my sweat on 😉
